Q: Why can't I open the quiz once I have downloaded it?
A: THE ID QUIZ quizzes use the Microsoft Excel program for its functionality. Using this format allows the quiz taker to not be
connected to the Internet to play the quiz, and you are also able to save the quiz and your progress. Excel is a spreadsheet program
as part of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications which also contains Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
Unfortunately, if you do not have Excel on your computer, you will not be able to play THE ID QUIZ. Some computers that are bought
new come with an office suite of applications called Microsoft Works, which is basically a lower, cheaper alternative to Office. THE ID
QUIZ will not work with the Microsoft Works spreadsheet program. If you do not have Excel, you can purchase and learn more about
the program for yourself at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/excel/default.aspx, or search online for Excel 2007 or the previous
version, Excel 2003, to search for the best deal. If you do not have the program and are hesitant to purchase, believe us when we say
that it will be a worthwhile investment. And you can also download addtional fun Excel files in the Bonus section, as well as future
training files on Excel.

Q: Do I choose Open or Save at the File Download window?
A: When you click on a quiz download link, you will see the File Download window. Click on Save and save the Excel file to a location
on your computer where you can locate it easily (preferrably the Desktop). Once you have the file saved, you do not need an Internet
connection to play the quiz, and you can also save the quiz and come back to it later if needed.

Q: Why can't I see the full quiz when I open the file?
A: THE ID QUIZ quizzes are best viewed with a screen resolution of 1024x768. If your screen resolution is set at 800x600, then you
will not see the full quiz. To change the screen resolution on your computer, on the Desktop, right-click on a blank area and click on
Properties. This will bring up the Display Properties window. Click on the Settings tab and click-and-drag the screen resolution to 1024
by 768 pixels.

Q: How do I enter the answer key for the quizzes?
A: All quizzes have a built-in answer key, which you will need to get by emailing us at answers@theidquiz.net. Also, each quiz will
have a different key. You type the answer key in the white answer box where you normally type in your answers. Once you move
out of the white answer box, the correct answer will show in the gray box below. You will not be credited for the answer in your
score, but at least you can sleep easier!

Q: Why does the site appear jumbled or overlapping?
A: Until fixes can be made, the site is best viewed in Internet Explorer with a screen resolution of 1024x768. There appears to be
issues related to the use of the FIrefox browser and also on Macs. We apologize for the inconvinience.
